Press Release: Ongoing Scam on social media in the name of the Honorable Minister
The Attention of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration has been drawn to an ongoing scam on social media with some unknown persons using the name of the Honorable Minister to defraud innocent people under the pretext of offering them employment for a fee.

NAGHACON APAPA CENTRAL CHAPTER @ 10
On 17th September 2016, Apapa Central Chapter of Lagos NAGHACON celebrated its 10th Anniversary. The event was hosted at Mobil Pergasus, 6 Lisabi Str., Apapa GRA, Lagos. Invited as special guest of the event were H.E William Azumah Awinador Kanyirige(Ambassador Ghana High Commission Nigeria), Sir. Ambrose Sanni Lamidi Ikjwi, Isaac Joshua Essilfie (Consul-General Lagos), Engr. William Derby (Chief Patron of Apapa Chapter)
and Frank Ekow Quaye (NAGHACON Presedent) just to mention a few.

FORMATION OF APAPA CENTRAL CHAPTER
Apapa Central Chapter was founded immediately after the agreement of all Ghanaians to come under one umbrella which was endorsed by the Ghana Mission in Nigeria in the year 1995. The chapter was formed with the vision of providing welfare and and other necessary assistance to Ghanaians in Apapa Locality. It was a means of encouraging all Ghanaians to be part of the National body NAGHACON for easy integration. After it collapse in 2003,
the of five (5) members came together to rejuvenate the the chapter in 2005. The founding members were, Mr. Isaac Hayford, Mr. Hayford Alorsor,
Mr. Emmanuel Lamptey, Pastor Alex Alowu and Hamid Abdul. Currently the total membership is 120.
